Guernica Pablo Picasso Panoramic 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Review

Guernica Pablo Picasso
Once again, I find myself looking for difficult jigsaw puzzles for sale, and ran into one hell of a puzzle. If you are a fan of jigsaw puzzles and perhaps want to get away from the normal wooden sceneries or random characters from pop culture, you’re going to love what you get with this option. This is a puzzle that speaks to the framework of modern art, and it is one of the toughest puzzles that I’ve tried to work on, to the point where I personally gave up when I first tried. But for the sake of this site, I will be giving it another shot and will frame it, since this is like the “Moby Dick” of puzzles for some of us that are enthusiasts. Ok, it’s not the hardest for some, but the monochromatic tone is going to be a difficult option for many. Not only that, this option from Guernica is 3,000 pieces. That’s right, there are 3,000 pieces chopped up and broken up for you to try and solve. This is not one for the kids, yet the company says it’s ideal for ages 14 and up. This will break brains, it’s that rough. Let’s take a look at the Guernica Pablo Picasso Panoramic 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle.

Vital Information About This Jigsaw Puzzle

As you look at the information on the Guernica Pablo Picasso Panoramic 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, you’re going to find that it is not full of color. It’s not supposed to be. The colors are grey scale, and they are monochromatic in many ways, and that leads to the difficulty of this one. As far as the difficult jigsaw puzzles for sale that abound today, this is not the most difficult. However, it is one of the harder ones that I’ve seen in a while. So much so that I’m surprised that more people haven’t tried to tackle this one as a way to introduce modern art into the home, and much more. I for one love the idea of having a Picasso print in my home, but hey, I can’t afford it.

This 3,000 piece puzzle, when finished is 47.24 x 33.46 inches, and it is perfect for framing. You will have to custom frame this one, I think. However, when you are done, you will have an incredible piece for your wall, for you to give away, or to sell. Heck, I found someone selling this on Etsy for 400 dollars! By the time I went to get the link for this, they had already sold it, and that was that. I was surprised by it. The puzzle consists of 3,000 pieces, mind you, so you’r going to have to glue this one together and then get it framed at Michaels or some other location.

Of course, if you are already making and putting together difficult jigsaw puzzles, then by all means, put this one together and then frame it on your own. It’s a large undertaking, however, no matter how you look at it. The Guernica Pablo Picasso Panoramic 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle is no joke, it’s hard, it’s immensely unique, and it is one of the better options I’ve seen in a long time.

Difficulty of The Jigsaw Puzzle

As I stated above, this is not one of the most difficult jigsaw puzzles for sale, but it is a tough one. Throw out the 3000 pieces for a second, and think about just the color scheme. It’s monochromatic and it is Picasso’s work. That means that the lines are odd, they are cubist, and they are all over the map. This is not your average puzzle, and it features art that is iconic, and yet difficult to even reproduce. Even the best cubist painters today have a hard time working with what Picasso was doing, so imagine that difficulty, put into a puzzle of 3000 total pieces.

When you look at the reviews, people note that this is a difficult one to put together, some of which rage quit several times. It’s a matter of trial and error, to be honest, and you will need to put together your best foot forward if you’re going to complete this large puzzle. Guernica has outdone themselves with this one, and it truly is a complex and unique puzzle that will change your perception on how you can build classic art, and have fun. If you have time on your hands, want to turn off the television, and are seriously looking for a challenge, then this is a jigsaw puzzle that you must get. In light of modern and contemporary art puzzles, this is a highlight for me, since I’m a fan of the cubist art movement.

Jigsaw Puzzle Rating Based on Difficulty and Design

I have seen a lot of puzzles in my years. I started making puzzles as a child, because my parents would take away the television and video games from me as a punishment. To offset that, I would seek out other options. Jigsaw puzzles, and books were something that gave me hours and hours of fun, and today, I like to put them together as a stress reliever. However, some of the more difficult of puzzles are going to cause some stress if you’re not used to them. The Guernica Pablo Picasso Panoramic 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle is fun, if you’re a fan of difficult puzzles. If you’re not, then you’re going to get frustrated fast, and you are going to give up on it. It’s not something that you can put together in an afternoon, it’s going to take a lot of time to process, but it’s so worth it.

Where Can you Buy This Jigsaw Puzzle

I have not seen a lot of Guernica puzzles in the wild. I see a lot more options from other brands, including some Japanese brands coming through often as the most difficult jigsaw puzzles for sale. However, when it comes to this specific style, including modern art, I tend to see more options that showcase Van Gogh and Andy Warhol. I don’t see a lot of Picasso. That doesn’t mean that they don’t exist, mind you, I just don’t see them often. It’s for that reason that if you want to pick up the Guernica Pablo Picasso Panoramic 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, you can click the link below, and get your hands on it. But you’ve been warned, it’s not “easy” to put together.
